Generations Of Computers and their Evolutions ?

Generations Of Computers and their Evolutions  ? FIRST GENERATION OF COMPUTERS (1949-55) :      The first electronic computer was introduced in 1946 by a team led by Professors Eckert and Mauchly at the University of Pennsylvania in U.S.A.-This computer was called Electronic Numerical.integrator and Calculator (ENIAC). It used high speed vacuum tube switching devices. It had a very small memory and  was designed primarily to calculate the trajectories of missiles.  The ENIAC added two digits in around 200 microseconds and multiplied in about 2800 microseconds.   IMPLEMENTATION OF PROGRAM LOOPS : The first computer was designed and commissioned in 1949  at Cambridge University, U.K. under the leadership of Professor Maurice Wilkes. This computer called EDSAC (Electronic Delay storage Automatic Calculator) used mercury delay lines for storage.      Early in the 1950s, stored programme electronic computers saw commercial manu...

Who discovered electron ? How to discovered electron ? What is cathode ray discharge tube ? What is cathode ray and cathode ray particles ? | Inorganic chemistry | Chemistry.

Inorganic chemistry | Chemistry   Discovery of Electron                   In 1830, Michael Faraday showed that if electricity is passed through a solution of an electrolyte, chemical reactions occurred at the electrodes, which resulted in the liberation and deposition of matter at the electrodes. These results suggested the particulate nature of electricity.           In mid 1850s many scientists mainly Faraday began to study electrical discharge in partially evacuated tubes, known as cathode ray discharge tubes . A cathode ray tube is made of glass containing two thin pieces of metal, called electrodes, sealed in it. The electrical discharge through the gases could be observed only at very low pressures and at very high voltages. The pressure of different gases could be adjusted by evacuation of the glass tubes. When sufficiently high vo...

Who discovered proton and neutron ? How to discovered proton and neutron ? What is canal ray? What is anode ray ? | Inorganic chemistry | chemistry.

-
Inorganic Chemistry |Chemistry   Discovery of Protons and Neutrons           Electrical discharge carried out in the modified cathode ray tube led to the discovery of canal rays and anode rays carrying positively charged particles. The characteristics of these positively charged particles are listed below.      (i) Unlike cathode rays, mass of positively charged particles depends upon the nature of gas present in the cathode ray tube. These are simply the positively charged gaseous ions.       (ii) The charge to mass ratio of the particles depends on the gas from which these originate.       (iii) Some of the positively charged particles carry a multiple of the fundamental unit of electrical charge.      (iv) The behaviour of these particles in the magnetic or electrical field is opposite to that observed for electron or cathode rays. ...

MongoDB illegal instruction (core dumped) issue ! How to install  Mongodb v4.4  ?  What is core-dump ?  Today,             I'm gonna talk about what is core dump   and  how to solve MongoDB illegal instruction (core dumped) issue ,  For that watch this Video ( Language Hindi ) What is   illegal instruction core dumped ? = >  Accessing memory that "does not belong to you" causes a Core Dump/Segmentation fault. A core dump occurs when a piece of code attempts to read and write in a read-only memory location or a freed memory block. It's an error that means there's a problem with the memory. The following are examples of common segmentation errors: Changing the literal value of a string: Because the line *(str+1)= ‘n' tries to write a read-only memory, the following programme may crash (give a segmentation fault error). In  >  C  int main() {      ...

What is thomson model of atom ? | Inorganic chemistry | Chemistry.

Inorganic chemistry | Chemistry.   Thomson Model of Atom  What is thomson model of atom ?              J. J. Thomson, in 1898, proposed that an atom possesses a spherical shape (radius approximately 10^-10 m) in which the positive charge is uniformly distributed. The electrons are embedded into it in such a manner as to give the most stable electrostatic arrangement. Many different names are given to this model, for example, plum pudding, raisin pudding or watermelon .                    visualised as a pudding or watermelon of positive charge with plums or seeds (electrons) embedded into it. An important feature of this model is that the mass of the atom is assumed to be uniformly distributed over the atom. Although this model was able to explain the overall neutrality of the atom, but was not consistent with the results of later experiments. Thomson was awarded Nobel Prize ...

Get a healthy heart Follow these mantras to keep your heart healthy- There’s no denying the fact that heart health is of utmost importance. And before we land up at the doctor’s chamber, it is essential that we take care of ourselves in all the ways possible. Some of the most basic steps we can take in this regard are: Exercise regularly Adults need at least 30 minutes of exercise five or more days a week for a healthy heart. Try to get at least 30 minutes of exercise daily and break it up, if you like. You should get your heart rate up so that you are somewhat breathless, but can still carry on a conversation. All kinds of exercises are important, from strength training and aerobics, to flexibility and stretching. Food rules  1) Limit bad fat : Eat less saturated fat. You can reduce your risk of heart disease by half. Start by switching to low-fat meat and dairy, and change to healthier fats like olive and canola oils.  2) Cut the salt : Cook with less salt, limit proce...
