 There have been a couple OpenSource Anti Virus projects are available, but most of them how about ,I know they have been disapear ,closed or  off some years ago years ago. but in these days i only listen about some OpenSource Anti Virus product I am aware of. There are several companies which have free OpenSource Antivirus software programs for personal use, but that is not fully as open source.

Free Antivirus/openSource vs. Paid Antivirus

antivirus which is free or Open Source project tools are so good, than why we should pay? But in all of then we got that a few of AntiVirus products are free for personal users or a non-commercial person; if anybody want to protect their business or commercial plateform, than he must paid for that edition. At that point, you should consider upgrading to a full security suite.

in the Other Hand, For personal use, most of the pay antivirus tools gives more than of their free Versions—Even sometimes it gives a lot more protection and Facilites. For example, Some paid edition adds protection against malicious and fraudulent websites But in the free Free version that facilites are no available. 

And Panda reserves little bit more  features for their paying customers, like - firewall protection, application control, cross-platform support, and detection of insecure Wi-Fi connections.
